Celebrating American Craft Beer and Classic Arcade Games
Barcade is a combination Bar and Arcade with a focus on classic Video Games and American Craft Beer. The original location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn opened in 2004 and enjoyed immediate acclaim for its unique blending of two business concepts. Barcade became a registered trademark in 2007 and locations in Jersey City, NJ and Philadelphia, PA opened in 2011. The company is owned and operated by four longtime friends with backgrounds in film, advertising and graphic design. They grew up playing video games in the 1980′s and turned their interest in classic games and good beer into Barcade.
A fourth location, on the west side of Manhattan, is planned to open in 2013.
